Recently I've been working on a web-series through Drop Dead Studios called "Life as I Knew it." It was a cool romantic comedy idea about a guy who's ex-girlfriend and arch nemesis gets engaged to his roommate, but due to a few problems with the editor and a lot of problems with meeting times, the project has been put on hold for an indefinite period of time.
(I presented the show to a group of internet entrepreneurs and they said they loved it, they'd like to get involved in investing and using the show as marketing, but they wanted to see the pilot first. So I make the pilot with a very talented director, and the guy in charge of the entrepreneur group meeting times decides I can't present at their next meeting, but he'll let me present at their sister organization designed for charities. Charities aren't known for backing television series and since they weren't the ones I'd talked to before, they had no idea who I was and what I was doing there. Now so much time's passed that the show can't be done before I graduate, even if we did get funding.)
Now I'm working on another show to fill the gap. This one will be a six episode arc, and the tentative title is "Minecraft!" (If you haven't seen minecraft, check out minecraft.net, it's really fun.) We're going to get this one made by the end of April, and up for people to view by May. The best part is, even without funding this one won't be too hard to make, so here's hoping.
