So I haven't written anything here in a while. My fault, I need to get better about that, but I've had a lot happen since my last post. For one, I spent a week in New York hunting down agents, watching shows, and generally getting ready for a big move that we're now planning to make down there. My play, The Diary of Anne Frank, is about to open. And, oh yes, my son was just born.
That's right, Aaron James Meyers was born this morning at 6:20, weighing 8 lbs, 1 ounce and coming in at 21 1/2 inches long. He is gorgeous.
Of course this means my schedule will be even more hectic (though I'm not sure how you get less free-time than "zero") but really I'm just happy to finally have my boy and to have moved on to the next phase already. We had a list, you see: graduate, go to New York, have the baby, get done with the play, then move to New York. It's a lot of life-changing things happening within weeks of each other, but once they're all done I'll feel like my wife and I are officially done with this chapter of our lives and will finally have moved on to the next one. And hopefully that next one includes a happy family, some good TV, film, and Broadway credits, and maybe a best seller or two. You know, just to make it interesting.
See you all in print,
